The 7-day window
Every paid MoneySmith plan — Spark, Compass, Atlas, and any one-time Master Plan purchase — is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee. The window starts at the timestamp of your most recent charge. If you decide MoneySmith isn't for you within those 7 days, contact support and we'll process a full refund of that charge.
How to request a refund
Email support@moneysmith.one from the address you used at checkout. Include the order ID or Stripe receipt number from your confirmation email — that's the fastest path. If you can't find it, the email address alone is enough; we'll match the record on our side.
You don't need to explain why. We log a one-line reason for our own product feedback, but it's optional and never gating. Replies typically land within one business day; refunds are issued the same business day the request is approved.
What's refundable
- Subscription charges (Spark, Compass, Atlas — monthly or annual): the most recent charge, refunded in full, within the 7-day window. Annual plans carry the same 7-day window from the most recent renewal — not from your original signup date.
- One-time Master Plan purchases: full refund within 7 days of purchase, even if the PDF has already been delivered.
- Genuine billing errors (duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation): refunded outside the 7-day window with no time limit. Send the receipt and we'll fix it.
What's not refundable
- Subscription charges past day 7. After the window closes, the next billing period is yours — but you can cancel renewal anytime in two clicks from the dashboard or the Stripe customer portal, and you keep access until the period you paid for ends.
- Already-consumed AI Coach hours past the 7-day window. If you've used the Coach extensively and request a refund on day 30, that's a case-by-case review — not an automatic refund.
- Charges older than 90 days from any provider, since Stripe's refund window itself caps there. Older billing errors are still resolved, but as a credit to your next invoice rather than a refund to card.
Stripe processing time
Once a refund is approved, it's issued to your original payment method via Stripe. Stripe processes refunds within 5-10 business days — the exact timing depends on your card issuer or bank. International cards and bank-transfer methods sometimes take the full 10 days; most US cards land within 5. You'll see the refund as a separate line on your statement (it doesn't reverse the original charge).
If 10 business days have passed and the refund still hasn't appeared, forward the original receipt to support@moneysmith.one and we'll trace it with Stripe directly.
Cancellation vs. refund
These are two different actions. Cancellation stops future charges; refund returns money for a charge already made. You can cancel without requesting a refund, and you can request a refund without canceling — though most people who refund within the 7-day window also cancel at the same time. Both actions are reversible if you change your mind: cancellation can be undone from the customer portal, and we can re-issue a fresh checkout link if you want to re-subscribe later.
